Grease is the word

Grease has a fantastic opening sequence. It is animated which is fun and entertains the audience.

The name of the film is seen first which is simple but effective as its embedded in a cartoon car, which is later seen in the film (the real one of course.)

The production company is then shown followed by the cast. Each character is shown in cartoon form as they are introduced. This is very eye catching and helpful for the audience. 

The date when the film is set is also show on a number plate.

The rest of the information and titles are shown on billboards as the characters drive by them.

The titles then fade into real life footage of a high school, establishing were it's set.

The happy mood hints at a high school Rom-com.

The credits include : Music, Producers, The Title, Choreographer, Edited By,Director of Photography, Director, 'Based on', Screenplay, adapted by and Production design.
